Terms of Use
These are the rules of turbobattle.com. They are longer than the games deserve, because the same short fact has to be stated in several places: nothing here is played for money, and nothing here turns into money. Read the box below and you have the substance; the numbered sections are the detail.
The short version.
TurboBattle is a free social casino for adults. 6 casino-style games, played with virtual Bolts, which are a counter and nothing else. Bolts have no cash value, never leave the game, and are never exchanged, transferred or converted into anything. Buying more of them is optional and buys a larger number, never an advantage. If that is not what you came for, close the tab now — nothing is signed and nothing is owed.
1. Who we are and what these Terms cover
These Terms of Use (the Terms) are an agreement between you and us about your use of turbobattle.com. They cover the whole site: the 6 games, the Store, every written page, the contact form and anything we add later. All of it together is called the Site.
The Site is published and operated by Turbo Battle Interactive Ltd. (we, us, our), a company registered under number 14872305 (England & Wales), with its registered office at 86 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom.
General questions and support go to [email protected]. Legal notices under these Terms, including complaints, go to [email protected]. Anything about personal data goes to the data controller at [email protected].
We hold no gambling licence, we have applied for none, and we do not need one for what we publish. We are not an affiliate, agent, partner or shop window for any betting or gambling business, and we are not paid by one.
2. Accepting these Terms
Using the Site is how you accept these Terms. Opening a game, pressing a button in one, confirming your age or writing to us through the contact form all count. There is no account to create and no box to tick beyond the age question.
If any part of these Terms does not suit you, stop using the Site. That is the whole of the exit: nothing is subscribed, nothing renews, nothing has to be cancelled and no one has to be emailed.
Three other documents sit alongside these Terms and form part of the agreement:
- Privacy Policy — what we do and do not collect
- Cookie Policy — every cookie the Site sets
- Responsible Social Gaming Policy — limits, reminders and how to stop
Each game page carries its own rules: how a round is played, what the symbols do, and how virtual Bolts move on the balance. Where a game's own rules say something more specific about that game, they govern that game. These Terms govern everything else.
3. What TurboBattle is, and what it is not
TurboBattle is a free social casino. We make casino-style games — reels, a wheel, cards, dice, a drop board and an instant game — and we run them on virtual Bolts, a play-money counter we issue. The Site is For entertainment purposes only.
This is not a gambling service and we do not operate one. No real-money gambling takes place on the Site. No real money is staked, held, risked, matched or transferred in any game. Nothing you do here creates a chance of receiving money or anything else of real-world value, which is the point of the whole arrangement rather than a limitation of it.
What we do
- Free casino-style games for adults, in a browser, for as long as you want
- Virtual Bolts given out at no charge and topped up at no charge
- Games we designed ourselves, under names and marks that are ours
- Optional purchases of more virtual Bolts, and nothing else
What we do not do
- Real-money gambling, betting or wagering of any description
- Cash-outs, redemptions or exchanges of virtual Bolts
- Prizes, goods, vouchers, tokens, crypto or anything else of real-world value
- Sweepstakes, prize draws, contests or competitions of any kind
- Transfers or trades of Bolts between players
- Links, referrals or sign-ups to real-money gambling services
The word stake appears in our games with one meaning only: how many virtual Bolts are placed in the round you are about to play. Those Bolts are virtual throughout, before the round and after it, whatever the result. The word win means the same kind of thing: a number added to a virtual balance inside a game.
4. Who may use the site
The Site is for adults. You may use it only if you are 18 years of age or older, which is what you confirm at the age check before the first round. Social casino games imitate adult games and are treated as adult content here.
- Nobody under 18 may use the Site, supervised or not, on any device
- Answering the age question untruthfully is itself a breach of these Terms
- On a shared device, keeping the Site away from younger users is the adult's job
Free social gaming is lawful in most places and restricted in some. Checking the rules where you live is your responsibility, not ours. If free social casino games are restricted where you are, close the Site.
We may refuse access, restrict it, or end it at any time, including where we believe a user is under 18, where these Terms have been broken, or where the law requires it. Since nothing is held here on your behalf, losing access costs you nothing but the games.
5. No account, and where your balance lives
There is no sign-up, no password, no profile and no account of any kind. You do not give us a name or an email address to play, and we do not create a record of you when you do.
Your Bolts balance is stored by your own browser, on your own device. We keep no copy of it, we cannot look yours up, and it never reaches our servers. That has three consequences, and all three are by design rather than by accident:
- The balance belongs to one browser on one device. Another browser starts fresh
- Clearing your browsing data, or playing in a private window, starts you again at 5,000 virtual Bolts, at no charge
- A balance that is gone cannot be restored by us or by anyone else, because there is no stored copy to restore it from
This applies to a balance that was paid for as much as to a free one. We do not restore, re-credit or compensate Bolts lost when browser data is cleared, when a device is replaced, or when a browser discards its own storage. Nothing of value is lost in that event, for the reason set out in section 6.
6. Virtual Bolts
Bolts are the virtual currency of our games. What you hold is a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use a counter inside the games on this Site, for as long as we publish them and for as long as you keep to these Terms. You own nothing. The counter is ours, the licence is yours, and it ends when your access does.
Bolts are not money. They are not e-money, not a payment instrument, not a security, not a financial product, not a crypto-asset, not property, not a credit balance held for you, and not a debt we owe you.
- No monetary value, and no exchange rate — inside the Site or outside it
- No cash-outs. Bolts are never converted into money, in either direction
- No redemption for goods, vouchers, tokens, crypto or anything else
- No transfer, gift or trade between players. The function does not exist in our code and we do not intend to build it
- No resale, brokering or advertising of Bolts anywhere, at any price
- No compensation, refund or replacement if a balance is lost, reset or removed
Free Bolts arrive on their own. You start with 5,000, a further 1,000 arrives every three hours, and if your balance falls below 100 we top it up by 500 at no charge. Those numbers are a pacing decision and we may change them at any time. They are not a promise, an entitlement or a line of credit.
We may adjust, reset or remove Bolts from a balance that came from a defect in a game, an error on our side, or deliberate tampering with the storage the balance lives in. Nothing is owed to anyone when we do, because nothing there had value in the first place.
7. Optional in-game purchases
In-game purchases are available. They are entirely optional. Every game is playable indefinitely on free Bolts, the free supply described in section 6 keeps arriving whether or not you ever pay, and no game, feature or page is closed to someone who never opens the Store.
No payment can be taken today.
At the date at the top of this page the Store takes no payments: the button on each pack opens a notice, not a checkout. No card details are asked for, no order is placed and no charge can reach you. This section sets out the terms that will apply when purchasing opens, and describes what a purchase is when it does.
What a purchase is
A purchase in the Store is the supply of digital content: a larger number of virtual Bolts, credited to the balance in your browser as soon as the payment clears. What you buy is the same limited licence described in section 6 — a counter to use inside our games. You do not buy property, an asset, a holding or a claim against us.
A purchase is not a wager. It creates no chance of receiving money, goods or anything of real-world value, and it cannot be reversed back into money by playing.
A purchase buys no advantage. It does not improve your chances in any game, does not change how a game decides an outcome, does not unlock a game, a feature or a level of service, and gives you no standing of any kind. It buys a bigger number, which lasts longer before it runs out. That is the entire difference.
Prices, tax and delivery
Prices are shown in the Store and again at the checkout, in the currency stated there, inclusive of any sales tax or VAT we are required to charge. We may change prices and pack sizes at any time; the price shown at the checkout when you confirm is the price that applies to that purchase.
There is no subscription, no auto-renewal and no stored plan. Each purchase is a single one-off supply, delivered once, immediately, with nothing to activate afterwards.
We hold no card numbers. When purchasing opens, payments will be handled by a payment provider under its own terms, and your card details will go to them and never to us.
Only adults of 18 or over may buy, using a payment method they are entitled to use. Where a card or a device is shared in a household, keeping purchasing switched off is the cardholder's job; our Responsible Social Gaming Policy explains how to turn purchase prompts off on the common platforms.
Your statutory right to cancel
If you are a consumer, the law gives you a statutory right to cancel a purchase made at a distance — 14 days to change your mind and get your money back, with no reason given. In England and Wales that right comes from the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and equivalent rights exist across the European Economic Area.
Digital content is the exception the law itself makes. The right to cancel ends once delivery has started, and only where you have expressly consented to it starting straight away and acknowledged that consenting ends the right. Both are needed; one without the other leaves the 14 days intact.
The checkout will ask for both, in plain words, before it takes anything. Virtual Bolts are credited the instant a payment clears, so agreeing means the 14 days are gone. If you would rather keep them, do not agree and do not buy — you lose nothing, because the games are free either way.
Refunds
We would rather be reasonable than technically correct. Write to [email protected] within 14 days of the charge, quoting the receipt, and we will look properly at:
- a payment taken twice, or taken for a pack you did not choose
- virtual Bolts that were paid for and never appeared in the browser
- a purchase made on your card by someone in your household who should not have
- a fault on our side that spoiled what you bought
Where a refund is due it goes back by the method the payment came in, and the Bolts it paid for are removed from the balance. A refund is never paid in Bolts, and Bolts are never turned into money in the other direction either.
We do not refund Bolts that have simply been played through a game. They were spent on the thing they were sold for — time in a free social casino game — and they had no cash value at any point. None of this affects your statutory rights as a consumer, which section 18 leaves exactly where the law puts them.
Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please write to us before asking your bank or card issuer to reverse it. A message usually settles it within two business days, and a reversal raised without one costs us a fee and tells us nothing.
Where a chargeback is raised, we may remove the Bolts that the payment bought and end access to the Site from that browser. That is the only sanction available to us, and on a site that holds nothing it is not much of one.
8. No prizes, no draws, no competitions
No real-world prizes. Nothing of real-world value is awarded, handed out, drawn for or promised anywhere on the Site — not money, not goods, not vouchers, not tokens, not crypto, not credit, not discounts with another business, not merchandise, not anything else.
- No sweepstakes, and no entry into one
- No prize draws, ballots or random selections for anything outside the game
- No contests, competitions or tournaments, whether skill-based or otherwise
- No loyalty scheme, no points that convert into anything, no referral payments
- No promotion run by us that ends in anybody receiving anything of real value
Scores, streaks, balances and the numbers a game shows you are display figures inside that game. They confer no entitlement, they are not entries into anything, and we do not publish or rank them against other players.
If you ever see an offer of money, goods or anything of value made in our name — by email, in a message, on another site — it is not from us. Please forward it to [email protected] so we can deal with it.
9. How the games decide an outcome
Every outcome in every game is produced by a pseudo-random generator running in your own browser. Each round is independent: the generator has no memory of the round before it, and a result is not made more or less likely by what has already happened.
- Nothing is decided by us at the moment you play
- No game knows, or asks, whether the Bolts in a round were free or paid for
- No outcome is adjusted for how long you have played, how much you hold, or how much you have spent
Results are final as they land, including the ones you dislike. Where an obvious defect produces an absurd result, we may correct the balance and the corrected figure stands.
The return rates in our games are set high on purpose, because a balance that empties in two minutes is boring. They are a pacing decision by us about a virtual counter, not an industry figure and not a statement about any real-money product. Success in social casino games does not imply future success in real-money gambling. Real-money gambling is a different activity with real financial risk, and what happens here predicts nothing about it.
10. Acceptable use
Very little is forbidden here, because very little is possible. The list below is short, and it is not negotiable.
- No bots, scripts, macros, emulators or automated play of any kind
- No editing the stored balance, intercepting the wallet or otherwise inventing Bolts. It fools nobody but you, and it is still a breach
- No reverse engineering, decompiling or copying our code, except so far as the law expressly allows
- No probing, scanning, overloading, denial of service or testing the security of the Site or the servers behind it
- No attempt to reach data belonging to anyone else
- No selling, buying, advertising or brokering Bolts, anywhere
- No presenting the Site as gambling, as a route into gambling, or as an endorsement of it
- No unlawful, abusive, deceptive or defamatory material through the contact form
- No copying our text, photographs, marks, artwork or design for use elsewhere
- No use of the Site by anyone under 18, and no handing it to one
Breaking any of these lets us end your access without notice and reset any balance that came out of it. Given that nothing is held here and nothing is owed, that is the whole of the enforcement, and we will use it.
11. Suspending and ending access
You end your use of the Site by closing the tab. To leave nothing behind, clear the site data in your browser: the balance, the age confirmation and the cookie choice all live there and go with it. Nothing has to be cancelled and nobody has to be told.
We may suspend, restrict or end your access to the Site, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice — in particular where we believe you are under 18, where you have broken section 10, where there is a security or fraud concern, or where the law requires it. We may also stop publishing the Site altogether, as section 12 explains.
When access ends, your licence to use Bolts ends with it. No refund, credit or compensation is due for a balance that never had a monetary value, whether it was free or paid for.
The sections that by their nature should outlive your use of the Site — 6, 8, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 — continue to apply after it ends.
12. Availability, changes and closing the site
We do not promise that the Site will always be available, always be correct, or work in every browser ever written. It may be down for maintenance, for a fault, or for reasons outside our control, with or without notice.
We may change the Site as we please: add games, retire them, rename them, redraw them, change rules, symbols, return rates, pack sizes, prices and the size of the free Bolts supply. We may also close the Site permanently.
None of that gives rise to a claim. There is no minimum term, no service level and nothing held on your behalf that could be taken away. If we close the Site for good, any Bolts balance stops working with it, and no compensation is due — including for Bolts that were paid for, which were supplied and delivered when they were bought.
13. What belongs to whom
The name TurboBattle, our mark, the game names, the symbols, the artwork, the photographs, the text on every page, the layout and the code are owned by Turbo Battle Interactive Ltd. or used by us under licence. They are protected by copyright, trade mark and design law, and none of it passes to you when you play.
You may read the Site, print a page for your own reference, and link to it honestly. Anything further — copying, adapting, republishing, scraping, or feeding it to a machine to build a competing product — needs our written permission. Ask at [email protected]; we are free to say no.
No real casino, no real gambling operator and no licensed casino game is named, pictured, branded or imitated anywhere on the Site, and none is going to be. If you believe something here infringes a right of yours, write to [email protected] with the detail and we will deal with it promptly.
If you send us a suggestion — a game you would like, a rule you would change — we may use it without owing you anything for it. We say so here only so that nobody is surprised later; please do not send us anything you are not content to give away.
14. No warranties
The Site is provided as it is and as it happens to be available. So far as the law allows, we exclude every implied warranty, condition and term — satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation among them.
Nothing on the Site is advice. Not financial advice, not legal advice, not medical advice, and emphatically not advice about gambling. The games are entertainment and are described as entertainment throughout.
If you are a consumer, this section does not touch the rights the law of your country gives you and does not let us take away.
15. Limits on our liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you are a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights, and we remain liable for loss that we caused and that was a foreseeable result of our breach. Everything below is subject to that.
So far as the law allows, we are not liable for:
- lost, reset or unrecoverable Bolts, balances, streaks or statistics
- time spent in the games, or anything you did not do while you were playing
- indirect or consequential loss of any kind
- loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, data or opportunity
- any decision you take elsewhere, in a real-money gambling product or anywhere else, because of something that happened here
- faults or interruptions caused by your device, your browser, your connection, or events outside our reasonable control
Where our liability is not excluded, everything we could owe you for all claims connected with the Site, taken together, is capped at the greater of: the amount you actually paid us for in-game purchases in the 12 months before the claim arose, or £100. Since the usual figure is nothing at all, the second limb is the one that will normally apply.
We provide the Site to you for your own entertainment. If you use it for any business purpose, we have no liability to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
16. Your indemnity to us
If you break section 10, use the Site unlawfully, or send us material you had no right to send, and a third party brings a claim against us because of it, you will cover the loss, damage and reasonable costs that claim causes us.
This applies only so far as the claim was actually caused by what you did. We will tell you about any such claim promptly, will not settle it in a way that blames you without your agreement, and will take reasonable steps to keep the cost down. If you are a consumer, this section does not affect your statutory rights and does not make you liable for anything you did not cause.
17. Complaints and disputes
Write to [email protected] for a complaint, or to [email protected] for anything smaller. The contact form reaches the same mailbox. Tell us what happened, when, and what you would like done about it.
What happens next.
A person reads every message and replies within two business days. If we cannot settle the matter in that reply, we will tell you what we are doing and give you a final written answer within 30 days. Most complaints about a site that takes no money are settled by email in an afternoon.
If our final answer does not satisfy you, you keep every right you had before you wrote to us. A consumer may take the matter to the courts, and may also refer it to the competent consumer protection or alternative dispute resolution body in their own country. We do not require arbitration, we do not ask you to waive anything, and we do not shorten any time limit the law gives you.
18. Governing law and your consumer rights
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of the Site, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident somewhere else, that choice does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in. You keep those rights, and you may bring proceedings in your own country's courts where the law there allows it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts the rights the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable consumer law gives you in relation to digital content supplied to you — including that it must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
Loose ends
- Severability. If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, that part is cut and the rest continues to apply
- No waiver. If we do not enforce something at once, we have not given up the right to enforce it later
- Whole agreement. These Terms, with the policies named in section 2, are the whole of the agreement between us about the Site
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a successor of the business, on the same terms and without reducing your rights
- Third parties. Nobody other than you and us acquires rights under these Terms
- Language. These Terms are written and interpreted in English
19. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms when the Site changes or the law does. The version in force always carries the date at the top of this page.
Where a change materially affects you, we will say so plainly on the Site for a reasonable period rather than hoping you re-read this page unprompted. Continuing to use the Site after a revision is how acceptance is given; if the new wording does not suit you, stop using the Site, and that is the end of it.
Changes never apply backwards to a purchase already made. That purchase stays governed by the version of these Terms in force when it was made.
